From the North via Skei/Fjærland 

After exiting the tunnell "Frudalstunnellen" on RV5, turn left at the sign to "Selseng". Follow the road for 300 meters and take a left at the sign "Uteplassen".

From east, over Sognefjellet, south passing Lærdal, from Kaupanger or from west Leikanger  

Drive towards Sogndal village. In the roundabout by the river, follow signs towards  Førde/Skei/Fjærland on RV5. Drive approx. 20km and turn right at the sign "Selseng". Follow the road for 300 meters and take a left at the sign "Uteplassen".

Uteplassen Sogndal was established in 2008 and is, with its unique location in Sogndalsdalen valley in Sogndal, a perfect starting point for outdoor activities and experiences from the fjord to the mountains at the Sognefjorden area. Based on Uteplassen you can experience famous attractions such as the glacier in Jostedalen, the Jotunheimen mountains, the Flåm railway, Nærøyfjorden, the glacier museum in Fjærland, Sognefjellet, Urnes Stave Church, Skålatårnet m.m.

Uteplassen Sogndal offers guided hikes both summer and winter, preferably in combination with accommodation and dining. We host team buildings, kick-offs, etc.

We offer 7 apartments and 3 cabins with 4-6 beds each, 30 places for campers, caravan and tent. We have good sanitary facilities with wardrobes, shower, laundry room and kitchen.

We have a café / restaurant with capacity for 50 people, which can be used for celebration or smaller courses and conferences, as well as a meeting room with 10 seats.
