Terms and Conditions

1. Orders

The number of persons, price, lodging, and other products and services to be
provided by Uteplassen Sogndal is stated in the confirmation that the guest will
receive after ordering.

2. Validity of the price agreement

The agreed prices are binding on both parties, however, Uteplassen Sogndal obtains the right
to adjust prices as a result of changes in costs of increased taxes and fees or other matters
beyond the control of the company.

3. Changes and cancellation

a. Bookings
For cancellation of booking the following applies:
• All changes and cancellations must be made in writing.
• In case of no-show, delayed arrival or early departure, Uteplassen Sogndal will be entitled to compensation equivalent to full price for    confirmed booking.
• For price reduction related to cancellation or order adjustment, the following
deadlines and reductions are as follows:

Reduction  1-2 units   3-5 units    5 -12+ units
100%           14 days     30 days      120 days
50%               7 days     14 days        60 days
25%               3 days       7 days        30 days
10%               1 day        3 days         14 days
 

b. 18 years age limit
For guests who do not travel with parents or guardians, we have 18 years of age
limitation. Uteplassen Sogndal reserves the right to cancel bookings if a valid ID can
not be displayed.

4. Payment

 

 

 

 

 

a. Cash payment
For cash payment, Uteplassen Sogndal will require either a cash deposit upon check-
in or a credit card guarantee.
b. Online Payment
Uteplassen Sogndal accepts payment from the following credit card companies: Visa
and MasterCard. For orders via our website we accept Visa and MasterCard.
c. Billing policy
Billing must be agreed in advance of your stay. Credit check can be made. A stay of
less than NOK 5,000 will not be possible to pay by bill.

5. Check-in and check-out

Booked units are ready for check in from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Latest time for check-
out is 12 noon on departure day.

6. Liabilities for damage

The guest or the guarantor of the booking is liable for damage to premises due to negligence
or irresponsible behaviour by the guests. We remind you that all units are non-smoking. In
case of violation, fee for extra cleaning will be required. This compensation is set at 2 500
NOK and will be charged from the final bill to the guest responsible

7. Force majeure

Events beyond the control of the parties - such as strikes, lockouts, fire etc. that make it
impossible to fulfil the obligations of this agreement - entitles termination of the agreement
without liability.

8. Jurisdiction

Any disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and
Uteplassen Sogndal) shall be handled in accordance with Norwegian law.
